In 2017, Smith was the recipient of Soledad O’Brien’s PowHERful Foundation’s Entrepenuer award and was also recently named Community Champion of AIDS Organization Harlem United. Sottocasa Pizzeria
Restaurant
WELCOME TO SOTTOCASA Literally, in Italian sotto means under, and casa home. And that’s where we are nestled at the very bottom of a brick townhouse. But being “sottocasa”, is less about a physical location and more about a feeling: it involves being convenient, close, friendly, warm. That’s how you feel when you step through our door: welcome home!

Greedy Pot
Greedy Pot
Greedy Pot, a Caribbean & Southern infused restaurant is a collaborative vision of Harlem native owners Sereena & Kevin Morrison. Growing up in Harlem, surrounded around the culture and that entrepreneur spirit from their families owning businesses in Harlem, there was only one place they wanted to start their journey. Growing up in a big southern family Sereena loved being in the kitchen with her Mom and Grandma; cooking was one thing that brought everyone together. Inspired, Sereena began her joruney in the food industry opening a catering business and starting a online baked goods business as the head baker and decorator called Reena Treats Kevin, born in Jamaica and raised in Harlem since the age of ten, fell in love with culinary arts through his dad who owned a restaurant in Harlem, Kerrian's Nice & Spicy. Kevin worked under his dad as a sous chef for ten years. Together, what started as a hobby slowly turned into a passion and Greedy Pot, an infusion of both our culture's was later born.
