Paula has over 22 years in the hospitality industry. Paula is a certified WSET Level 3 Advanced Sommelier and currently a candidate for the Diploma level 4 of the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, WSET. Paula is also a trained chef by the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners-ICIF.
From 2007 to 2016 Paula owned and operated OAK, a Restaurant & Wine Bar together with her husband Renato Sinitean, a WSET Diploma holder. With OAK they shared their love of food, wine and travel. Maia signed both their seasonal menu and extensive wine list, which focused on French wines.
Paula is an active wine consultant and frequently attends wine tastings, seminars and events.
