Rachel Stewart is the founder and owner of Beauty in the Kitchen. She started her company in 2013 with the immense passion to create delectable gourmet desserts everyone can enjoy. Turning the ordinary to an extraordinary personal experience is the company's driving mission. Rachel grew up inspired by her grandmother's and her mother’s Haitian cooking skills in the kitchen. This latter motivated her to attend the Art Institute of New York City where she studied pastry arts. She has had internship and career opportunities at various hotels and restaurants in Atlanta and New York City. Rachel currently works at the world famous Red Rooster here in Harlem. Rachel is also a graduate of the University of Georgia where she studied Management and Finance.
Rachel is currently operating a catering business based out of the New York City. Beauty in the Kitchen specializes in creating custom label dessert jars for any event as well as creates beautiful dessert table displays for special events.
